Description
The SupaGrip SafeKerb Ramp uses Oxford Plastics’ patented LowPro technology to greatly reduce unwanted movement. The anti-slide technology, featured on the underside and edges of the SupaGrip Ramp, is made from a soft, flexible, rubber material which grips the surface reducing unwanted movement. Rubber edges can be replaced to extend the life of your rubber kerb ramp. The SupaGrip Ramp provides safe access for wheelchair, pushchair, mobility scooter, bicycle and foot traffic up to 350kg. The SupaGrip Ramp is commonly used to provide access from kerb to road when the pavement is closed for street works. This kerb ramp is also suitable for access to shops, shop fronts, public buildings and the home. The SupaGrip Ramp complies with and exceeds the ‘Wheel Chair Boarding Ramp Specification’, the ‘Safety at Streetworks Code of Practice’ and the ‘Disability Discrimination Act’ (DDA). It’s important to note that this plastic ramp can be bolted for maximum stability, refer to the Site Specific Risk Assessment to determine if bolting is required. The SupaGrip Ramp is tested to BS7976 slip resistance and achieves a rating of Low Slip Potential in both wet and dry conditions. Over prolonged use, the ramp will sustain a degree of wear to the non-slip surface. All ramps must be risk assessed prior and during use to satisfy yourself that the non-slip surface is effective. If required, replace with a new SupaGrip Ramp.
